2019 analysis finds that companies in the top quartile of gender diversity on executive teams were 25 percent more likely to experience above-average profitability than peer companies in the fourth quartile. This is up from 21 percent in 2017 and 15 percent in 2014.

Businesses with the most diverse management have an operating profit margin of an average of 12.6 percentage points more than companies with the least diverse management.
